Flipnote Spiritena: Hatena Lives On!
Today, on May 31st, it is the last day that nintendo is letting us utilize the Nintendo DSi to upload trichrome animations to their online database, known as Dlipnote Hatena, which is hosted by the Japanese group 'Hatena Company Ltd.'' However, I've made sure that once Nintendo kills their version of Hatena, I will have fully recreated an almost EXACT REPLICA of the service, going by the name of: Flipnote Spiritena. No, it won't work the EXACT same, but it will make up for the differences between itself and Hatena, through making improvements on the areas where Hatena didn/t do so well, such as my new interractive flipnote podcast, that lets users choose how THEY prefer to view the way a flipnote's picture and audio go together - or my flipnote comment area, which, no matter how many comments people post, ALWAYS shows EVERY SINGLE COMMENT that was EVER posted to that flipnote. Also, unlike with Hatena, you won't ever have to worry about those weird, annoying, stressful, and/or unfortunate times where a page or flipnote that contains a lot of data suddenly causes you to get kicked back to the previous page, or even offline.
There will also be more services coming to Spiritena, similar to those of Hatena, two of which include: Spiritena Sonet - a blog like community that will let you share anything you feel like writing, not just poems, either - and Flipnote Presentena - which'll let you post animations and videos made in Microsoft PowerPoint! The above two communities are planned to be released no later than June 9th of Twenty-Twelve, but they COULD come EVEN EARLIER, so keep your eyes open!
I will be so happy to watch the Flipnote Spiritena community grow, just as I did Flipnote Hatena. I can't wait to see what you guys all have come up with: see you there!
